The BCE Institute Story

Our story began in 2003 as a training company and part of the evolving skills development landscape in South Africa. From one project with one facilitator traversing the country, operating from the boot of an old Volkswagen Jetta, the founder, Ezekiel More has grown BCE Institute to be a company with multiple large-scale projects and global reach.

Today, the company has grown to become a remarkable project management and skills development company with an impressive footprint responsible for multi-billion Rand projects. Over 25 000 people have undergone our accredited and non-accredited training programmes and the number is growing.

Our Roots and Origins

Our name, “Boikgantsho” is a Setswana word which means “pride” and indeed we pride ourselves with the high quality and standard of our work.

At the outset, we are proud to proclaim that we provide project management services, advanced and specialised skills development programmes that are second to none. As a leader in our field we are actively involved in transforming the skills landscape in South Africa and beyond. We are very passionate about quality and service excellence. We believe in discipline and professionalism.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ezekiel More

As the founder of BCE Institute, Ezekiel has broad experience in education, training, development, project and policy management. His deep understanding of the skills development industry, financial acumen, technical expertise and leadership are key in driving strategy. Ezekiel’s international experience has provided him with deep insight and vision to pursue “value over volume” where quality within the skills development environment is a key creator of value.

His unique brand of dynamic leadership continues to be vital in ensuring that the company is nimble and capable of meeting new opportunities. He has built the company to be diverse, inclusive and resilient.

Managing Director

Hamlet Basheng

Hamlet has a vast amount of experience in managing projects. He is multi-skilled with an array of competencies ranging from stakeholder engagement, information technology, people management, negotiation and communication. He is known and trusted to be a star performer and he can pull teams together to work towards common goals.

He has worked on several projects since he joined BCE Institute as the Managing Director. He has been a project and programme manager.

Chief Operations Officer

Olebogeng More

As a young person Olebogeng brings fresh new ideas to the organisation as the Chief Operations Officer (COO). She graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Marketing Management degree. She also has an advanced diploma in Branding and Innovation from Vega College and is currently pursuing a course in Social Entrepreneurship at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Having started in the private sector working for one of South Africa’s leading FMCG organisations she then went on to pursue her passion in corporate philanthropy, She has established herself as a cross-sectional expert in both the private and civil sector.
